Iridium-based MMO coated titanium anodes are a type of insoluble anode, which are coated with an iridium oxide layer on a titanium substrate using a special process. This coating endows the anode with excellent electrocatalytic activity and conductivity. In electrochemical reactions, based on the classification by gas evolution, iridium-based MMO coated titanium anodes are categorized as oxygen-evolving anodes, suitable for environments where oxygen evolution is desired.
